'WEIRD DREAMS' PF26

PRE-FALL 2026 ‘ Weird Dreams ’

Lingering tensions of the dream: Gentle reinterpretations and altered forms.

For the Pre-Fall 2026 season, KIMHĒKIM plants a subtle sense of unfamiliarity within refined and composed silhouettes.
Subtle asymmetry appears through seam lines and pattern cuts, along with layered constructions and exposed functional details which reframe the maison’s elegance. Ballooned volumes swell unexpectedly within defining codes, shirring gathers fabric into organic tension, and drawstring details create a rhythmic cadence. These interventions create a restrained distortion, like a familiar scene that bends at an unexplainable moment.

Positioned at the threshold between reality and dream, ‘ WEIRD DREAMS ’ examines the delicate sensations hidden beneath polished surfaces. Through quiet alterations of silhouette and proportion, the collection reframes elegance with the maison’s wit, introducing a lyrical nuance to its signature forms. Quietly animated by a poetic sense of play, beauty emerges with from the tension left behind by a dream.
